Here in cold Georgetown Maine, winter is starting to set in, we have been busy at work improving our G4 Scuttle! We have taken in consideration and most importantly welcomed feedback on how to make the G5 version of our scuttle exceedingly functional while still maintaining its attractiveness as a piece of everyday art........Please welcome our newest G5 Scuttle improvements to the scuttle line-up....... * Includes subtle vertical as well as horizontal grooves to allow for more lather build up with less brush stroke effort. * Increased the water reservoir by doubling the previous G4 water capacity, keeping your new G5 scuttle at the perfect temperature for extended periods of shaving. (see the cutaway view) * We are introducing a circular and slightly larger water reservoir opening with a handy rubber stopper that fits snugly into the spout, allowing the water to maintain its warmth for as long as you'd prefer, and keeping out water that may slop into your perfectly fluffed lather. Coupled with the new doubled water capacity, they seem perfectly paired for the perfect shave. * We have also introduced what we foresee as a nifty technique for making lather building a bit less messy....an inner ring of clay has been added to the inside lip of the lathering area redirecting the lather back into the bowl instead of climbing up and over your scuttle. As with every scuttle we have made, our G5 scuttles are hand-built and assembled by Zane, and glazed by Jessica ~2 of the 8 employees at Georgetown Pottery. We each take great pride in improving all our products, and talking with every individual customer. You can always give us a call at 1-866-936-7687 M-Sun 8:30-5pm EST or drop us an Email Here, or if you'd like you can Order One Here.
